
​​​Conditions Générales Assurance – CoursProtect
”Cours-Protect” is an insurance policy offered to clients to cover lessons purchased with ESS Leysin in the event of accidents, illness, or the cancellation of lessons due to the complete closure of the ski area.

1. Insurer:
The insurer is ESS Leysin, which offers an insurance service under the brand “CoursProtect”
​
2. Policyholder:
The policyholder is a person who has booked or purchased lessons with ESS Leysin and subscribed to the “CoursProtect” insurance.
​
3. Covered benefits:
“CoursProtecct” exclusively covers lessons booked or purchased with ESS Leysin.
​
4. Premium Amount:
CHF 5.- per person per day.
​
5. Insurance Validity:
The insurance is valid from the time of purchase and specifically during the period of the insured lessons purchased at ESS Leysin.
Only the insured individual are covered by "CoursProtect"
​
6. Purpose of the Contract:
The insurer guarantees the reimbursement or replacement of missed lessons in accordance with the conditions of the insurance outlined below

7.Insurance Conditions:
“CoursProtect” will cover the benefits mentioned above in the following situations:

-Lessons canceled or modified more than 48 hours before the start of the session without requiring justification.

-Lessons canceled less than 48 hours before the start of the lesson in the following cases :

In the event of an accident involving the insured person, upon presentation of a medical certificate issued during the validity period of the insurance

In the event of illness affecting the insured person, upon presentation of a medical certificate issued during the validity period of the insurance

In the event of complete closure of the ski area

In cases related to COvid-19-specific situations

8. Reimbursement:
Prorated reimbursement or the replacement of lessons must be claimed directly at the ESS Leysin main office during the insured person's stay.
Only cases involving illness or accidents preventing the insured person or their close ones from visiting the office may be settled later via mail or email.

​​​​​​9. Legal Basis:
This contract is subject to Swiss law. The provisions of the Federal Act on Insurance Contracts (LCA) and the Swiss Code of Obligations (CO) also apply
​
10. Coverage Exclusions:
All situations other than those mentioned in section 7.
Cases of intoxication, intentional acts, fraud or deliberate noncompliance with official prohibitions.
